Our Playground

Our Playground is going through some very exciting changes at the moment which are enabling the children to not only enjoy playtime a lot more but also continue to learn. 

We are working closely with OPAL to ensure that the changes we are making are risk assessed, purposeful and sustainable. We are very fortunate to be awared Platinum Play for the second time. Making us the First Lancashire school to have this award back in 2021 and again in 2025

How can parents help?

Please don’t be cross with us if your child comes home muddy. We are developing strategies to help protect your child from getting too muddy but unfortunately we do live in a very wet valley and play must continue. You may find that you have items at home that school could use to develop play further , just let us know as we may be able to use it.
